good sense, innocence, cripplin’ and kind

One scent that I love for the Fall and Winter is Baltic Amber by Voluspa. I first came across it in candle form and it reminded me of incense, but cleaner…it’s creamy and warm with notes of vanilla and patchouli, and with a heart of rich amber. The candle is a great way to scent a room, if you’re going to set yourself down for awhile, but for a quick burst and instant gratification, the room spray can’t be beat. I read that it can be used as perfume, but I would be a little nervous applying room spray to my skin. Maybe that’s just me. Another way to enjoy Baltic Amber is with the liquid hand soap, followed with the hand lotion. As I am frequently washing paint and glue off my hands, I really appreciate that duo, which is subtle enough to mix well with most of the scents I wear. The scent seems almost edible…or like a hot, creamy coffee drink.*** During the cold months I sometimes lament the fact that I don’t have a fireplace, but burning candles almost makes up for it, and the Baltic Amber is by far my favorite candle. I think it may be my favorite form of this scent, with its sweetness and depth, and without the smoke of incense.
